About SEEDS Project
SEEDS Project, (Social Entrepreneurship, Environmental Design, and Stewardwhip) is a community project, the purpose of which is to be a platform and catalyst to accomplish four goals:
-
Deepen the understanding and appreciation for environmental stewardship and sustainable agriculture
-
Foster experiential learning, discovery, innovation and entrepreneurship
-
Create and strengthen community
-
Produce healthy food. We run our own four-acre diversified vegetable farm.
We share our land with individuals who have similar goals, such as Seeds Farm, Mainstreet Project, Budding Farmers, and Honey Patch. These are all local, entrepreneurial, and sustainable projects. We have community garden plots available so that community members can garden, experiment with, and learn about vegetables, all while getting to know one another.
