About

Seeds Farm is a 50-acre organic farm in Northfield, Minnesota which grows 18 acres of certified organic and GAP vegetables for wholesale accounts, including food coops, restaurants, distributors, cafeterias, public schools, and food shelves. We are two miles south from downtown Northfield, a town of 20,000 people, and 45 minutes south of the Twin Cities. Seeds Farm is woman owned and managed by Becca Carlson and has been in operation since 2010. We strive for the triple bottom line of sustainability; social, environmental, and financial.

Our 18 acres of vegetables include 1/3 acre of high tunnels for season extension. We grow in bare soil as well as raised plastic beds (experimenting with mulched straw in-between). We host monthly Dinner at the Farms, open for the public to come out to the farm and enjoy a locally made meal from our veggies, community, and music. We love farming and try hard to cultivate a fun and meaningful workplace.
